CF 5541 is a chromate free chemical film conversion coating product. It produces a yellow protective film on aluminum and aluminum alloy surfaces. Contains no hexavalant chromate, cyanide or flouride. Easy disposal. Excellent paint base and performs equally to chromate coatings. No sludge build-up in tanks. RoHS compliant.
Metal-Tek CT-Chromate
CT-Chromate is a powdered product used to form chromate coatings on aluminum surfaces without the use of hexavalent chromium. CT Chromate is a replacement for yellow or clear hexavalent chromates and provides excellent corrosion protection and froms base for paint, lacquer, powder coatings or rubber. It is suitable for both wrought and cast aluminum alloys and is designed for ease of operation with minimum control. Meets or exceeds Mil Spec C-5541. ASTM B-117 RoHS compliant.
Other surface applications: zinc & aluminum castings, hot dip-galvanized steel.
Available in min. 30 lb. containers (drums available)
