Copper plating chemicals

Copper is a good metal because it can cover substrate defects like holes and splinters. Buffed copper is easy-to-plate and bright substrate. Copper is the least expensive metals. Copper has a high plating efficiency and throwing power. Three basic types of process in copper are alkaline, acid and mild alkaline complexes baths. Copper plating provides plating solutions for customers in the automotive, military, aerospace, electronic and commercial industry. Copper plating is an electro deposit that is widely used as under plates in multiple-plate requirements. A treatment known as Ebonal, a black oxide, is sometimes used as a blackening agent after copper plating for space hardware applications and in jewelry. The supply of copper is generally reliable. The physical and chemical properties of copper make it useful in many applications. Copper is the only metal that can be practically deposited directly on Zinc die castings in preparation for further processing.
